Terms and Conditions
Our goal at IMS Photography is provide a high quality product that you will treasure forever. Below are our simple and straight forward Terms and Conditions that help to make that happen.
1. Full payment is expected before the work will be released to the client. Payment may be made by PayPal (using a credit card, a 2.9% fee will be added per transaction by pay-pal) or check. There is a $30 fee for any returned checks. Once Payment is received the purchased product will be delivered to the client. Refunds are only given if the below listed circumstances are met, under no other conditions are refunds provided after the work is preformed. A 40% deposit is required at the time of booking a service. Once a service is booked the deposit is fully refundable (minus the 2.9% fee charged by PayPal if you pay using that method) up until 48 hours prior to the photo shoot, after 48 hours prior to the photo shoot the deposit will not be refunded.
2. Requests for additional work, such as additional editing, additional copies of the slide show will be accommodated as available, but there may be an additional charge.
3. IMS Photography will make every effort to accommodate a client’s schedule, but unforeseen events such as weather or other uncontrollable events will not be the responsibility of IMS Photography and the client agrees that the discretion is IMS Photography’s.
4. Once a purchase is made, the client has up until 48 hours prior to the photo shoot to cancel for a full refund, minus the 2.9% fee charged by PayPal (only if you use PayPal to pay). If the photo shoot is a onetime event, such as a party or ceremony and uncontrollable events cause the photo shoot to be canceled less than 48 hours in advance IMS Photography will refund as above, the discretion on what qualifies as an uncontrollable event is solely IMS Photography’s.
5. If the photo-shoot is canceled due to uncontrollable events less than 48 hours in advance, and the photo shoot can be rescheduled, such as a family portrait then no refunds will be given.
6. IMS photography is not responsible for damage to client property and will be held harmless and not responsible for the safety of any client. IMS photography will not suggest a dangerous situation for a photo shoot and may refuse to conduct the photo-shoot in unsafe conditions.
7. Photography is an art, and therefore is not exactly repeatable. IMS Photography will make every effort to produce exactly what the client wants. The client acknowledges and agrees that IMS Photography is not able to guarantee any exact image or specific type of shot.
8. Prior to the photo-shoot, a summary invoice and copy of these terms and conditions will be sent to the client for review and acceptance. The photo shoot cannot commence until both singed documents have been received.
Privacy Policy -
We will not share any of your information with anyone else. We do not share our client base with any other company. If you give a testimonial we use only your first name and location. We reserve the right to use any of the photos we take for our advertising. However, if there is any particular photo(s) you do not want shared we will be happy to accommodate. You may also specify ahead of time if you would prefer none of your pictures be shared, in which case the pictures we take will not be shared with anyone without your express permission.
